Adlan was down with fever last two weeks. His fever reached up to 39.6 celcius when we rush him to Az-zahrah. The fever starts on Monday(14th May 2007) evening, as we were back from work he was sleeping on the sofa. Usually, if he sleeps in the evening until Maghrib it is a symptom for him of not feeling well. As expected, he was really hot. (At that time I was quit annoy with bibik since she should have notice and inform us earlier.)
We rush him to the clinic. The clinic was packed also since they are having cases of a woman with stroke and a man with dengue. What a day! We manage to see the doctor but since she is occupied with the emergency patient she can just prescribed us with the medication.
So we bring Adlan back home and I had to give him the rectal fever medicine to cool his temperature down. The medication only last until early morning. I had to give him again the rectal medicine in the morning since he is still hot.
The situation continue until Thursday when finally his fever begins to gradually begin to cool down. During that time we rush him twice to Az-zahrah and he was being sponge with water and been blood tested. Luckily he was ok by the time his sport's day which was on Sunday.
Im glad Shakeel does not become infectious with the fever. An experience of taking care of a sick child is always suspense and heart breaking. Anyway, this is the picture of Adlan on his Sport's Day. Just about time with his recovery.
